Within the framework of the project “Involvement of civil society institutions in the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals in Kazakhstan,” implemented with the grant support of the Center for Support of Civil Initiatives of the Ministry of Information and Public Development of Kazakhstan, we have already held a number of seminars, in which we invite various specialists as speakers! And the fact that interest in our seminars has been held for the third month is an indicator of the quality of our seminars!
The main objective of the seminars is to raise awareness about the UN Sustainable Development Goals and gradually involve the population in the implementation of the 16th UN SDGs in Kazakhstan on the following topical aspects: strong institutions, open government and combining the potential of state and public structures for the subsequent creation of favorable opportunities to achieve the SDGs.
SDG 16, Peace, Justice and Sustainable Institutions, is one of the most important Goals, as the theme and its objectives are among the most pressing and pressing. Each task involves solving 10 problems. And the seminars in August will be devoted to this particular topic.

One of the main speakers at the seminar will be Margarita Uskembayeva, a public figure, president of the Institute of Equal Rights and Equal Opportunities in Kazakhstan Public Fund, an expert of the National Commission for Women and Family and Demographic Policy under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, director of the ARASHA shelter for victims of domestic violence, Almaty.

She is a graduate of the Talda-Kurgan Pedagogical Institute. I. Dzhansugurova by qualification “teacher of pedagogy and psychology,” then there was an internship and graduate school at the Department of Child Psychology of Moscow Pedagogical State University named after V.I. Lenin.
Teaching activities are connected with KazGosZHenPI, Almaty and Dzhambul Pedagogical Institute, Zhambyl University and Taraz State University named after M.H. Dulati.
Her summary also contains such facts as activities as a senior researcher at the Institute for Harmonious Human Development of the Bobek Republican Educational and Health Center, a scientific secretary and senior researcher at the KazGoZhenPU Research Institute for Social and Gender Studies, a leading expert at the KazNPU Institute for Quality Assessment of Education and Advanced Studies named after Ab.
In 2010 Margarita Abdikarimovna creates the Institute of Equal Rights and Equal Opportunities of Kazakhstan, and is currently its president.
As an advocate of children’s rights, she becomes the executive director of the Center for Child Protection and Family Support of Almaty, the coordinator of the National Helpline for Children and Youth No. 150, the coordinator of gender programs of the Association of Business Women of Kazakhstan, the coordinator of the Central Asian Gender and World Trade Network
Since 2010, he has been an expert at the National Commission on Women’s Affairs and Family and Demographic Policy under the President of Kazakhstan.
