On behalf of the President, the year 2019 was declared the Year of Volunteers in Kazakhstan, the Law was adopted
“About volunteering”. In order to support the volunteer movement 11-12 the 2019 Volunteers Forum 2019 has been held since December. After meeting with young people Tokayev wrote a post on Twitter and stressed that “the state should create conditions for hard-working, creative and knowledge-seeking young people.” “Competitive human capital is the main condition for development,” he said.
The Forum is held by the National Volunteer Network within the framework of the implementation of the program of small grants for the development of volunteer initiatives from the Center for Support of Civic Initiatives and the Ministry of Information and Public Development of Kazakhstan.
The forum will be attended by about 1000 participants, including 200 quotas from all regions of Kazakhstan, as well as 60 international quotas. This forum is expected to be attended by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan and such organizations as Red Crescent of Kazakhstan, Beeline Kazakhstan, UN specialized agencies such as the UN Volunteers Programme, UN-Women Entity, UNICEF and many others.
