Tursynbekova Saltanat Parkhatovna – member of the National Commission for Women’s Affairs and Family and Demographic Policy under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, human rights activist, public figure
Tursynbekova Saltanat Parkhatovna devoted her whole conscious life to the social movement, solving social problems – protecting women from violence, protecting the rights of women and children.
Working in the Prosecutor General’s Office, she was the head of the project “Kazakhstan without domestic violence.” Addressed the problems of violence against women and children in the country. She worked, collecting data, statistics, doing analysis, affecting all segments of women victims of violence. She worked in prisons with women who got there in self-defense, made interviews among convicts. This problem is very, very meticulous, several panels, parliamentary hearings, meetings with NGOs were held, she worked as Deputy Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Institute for the Study of Law, Order and Advanced Training of Personnel of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after S. Yeskaraev. Given this experience, Saltanat Parkhatovna was invited to the project as an expert in the field of human rights, law enforcement and the judicial system. The goal in life is to see all women and children – joyful, always smiling in full and happy families.
