The second day of the campaign “Know your goals” of the Russian Open School for Sustainable Development

Dear friends! Came September 9 local

And the second day of the SDG campaign begins 2 “Eliminating hunger, ensuring food security and improving nutrition and promoting sustainable rural development

Worldwide, there are about 795 million people suffering from hunger, and most of them live in developing countries.

Healthy eating is the key to our lives. If we are hungry, our performance is reduced and vulnerability to a variety of diseases increases. In countries where hunger and malnutrition are still common, people lose their ability to earn and improve their living conditions.

The world has a plan with 17 Sustainable Development Goals, which all countries intend to implement by 2030! Without each of us, we cannot defeat hunger!

Sustainable Development Goal 2 is not only about ensuring safe and nutritious food for all and promoting sustainable agriculture, but also about supporting small-scale food producers and preserving genetic diversity

In order to create a sustainable agricultural sector, attention must be paid to the proper functioning of markets, the growth of incomes of small farmers, equitable access to technology and land, and increased investment in sustainable agriculture.

Each of us can help achieve this Goal. What can you do?
