Celebration of SDG-2030 Leaders at the First Forum of Rural Women of Kazakhstan

On November 7-8, 2019 the First Forum of Rural Women of Kazakhstan was held! It was grandiose

The event is both meaningful and rich in different formats, emotional heat and, of course, the Forum delegates themselves from different parts of our Kazakhstan!

Almost all leading republican media wrote about the Forum, all accounts in Fb are literally full of photos with happy faces and reports from the Forum sites! A lot of commentary and correspondence at each other! All this is not very pleasing to us!

For the Public Institute “SDG-2030 Leaders in Kazakhstan,” these were also very important and significant! We brought almost all the Leaders together for the first time, and they met each other.

Within the framework of the Forum Program, a kind of presentation of the Public Institute took place. Several Leaders spoke and called on Kazakhstanis to achieve the Global Sustainable Development Goals at the local level. The speech of Irina Gallyamova, akim of Oryol rural district of Shcherbaktinsky district of Pavlodar region confirmed that each of us in our workplace and daily life can make a contribution to the transformation of our world. By the entrance, Irina Vladimirovna ‘s team had set up a special video confirming the speaker ‘s speech and that Goal 8 “Decent work and well-being” was realistically achievable in the village.

Another speech by the Leader of SDG 15 “Preservation of Land Biosystems” Galina Lviv Brauer, an eco-activist from the Green Technology Center Tukan Zher and her call to plant trees that should be turned into gardens, groves and forests, showing this on his own example (more than 20,000 different trees have been planted in 16 years: Willows, oak, birch, pine trees, apple trees, cherries, etc.) in the semi-empty steppe zone of Pavlodar region caused a sea of praise among the delegates of the Forum.

All Sustainable Development Goals are divided into five clusters – People, Planet, Prosperity, Justice, Partnership, each of which is the responsibility of one Ministry
