We, the supporters of global sustainable development initiatives such as Agenda 21, the Declaration on Environment and Development adopted by 178 countries in 1992 at the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development in Rio de Janeiro, the Millennium Development Goals, the Sustainable Development Agenda 2030, etc., call on Kazakhstanis to support our initiative to create a network of civic activists and leaders SDG-2030
In 2015. For the first time in human history, 17 sustainable development goals up to 2030 (SDG-2030) and 230 indicators were adopted for all countries, developing and developed alike. This is essentially the first real global programme or strategy in a difficult world environment of political confrontation and increased economic competition among countries.
SDGs have become a real priority for intergovernmental organizations, and most countries have restructured and reconfigured their national strategies. This is the highest result and document of international cooperation in the last half century, the “only compromise” and the common denominator of the policy of all countries.
Agenda 2030 is becoming a new political culture of global cooperation between countries in the context of growing imbalance in international relations, increasing competition, deepening the planetary environmental and climate crisis.
Kazakhstan has become one of the world leaders in promoting the principles of sustainable development since the first days of independence under the leadership of the First President. He first-ever closed the nuclear test site, refused nuclear weapon, initiated processes of the Eurasian cooperation, SVDMA, the Astana Economic Forum and the platform of global dialogue G-Global, the Global power ecological strategy, the Program of Partnership “Green Bridge”, the international Expo-2017 exhibition, development of the World Anti-crisis Plan, together with the countries of EEU and Central Asia supported the One Belt — One Way megaproject.
Kazakhstan has become one of the few countries that has achieved the SDGs ahead of schedule – Goals for the development of the country until 2015.
The long-term development strategy of Kazakhstan up to 2050, the documents of the Third Modernization, the programs of the Third Five-Year Plan, the Strategic Development Plan of Kazakhstan up to 2025 are based on the principles of sustainable development, inclusive and innovative economy, rational use of natural resources, transition to the Third and Fourth Industrial Revolution.

In 2013. The Concept on the transition of Kazakhstan to a green economy has been adopted.
In November 2016, the deputies of the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan adopted a Statement noting the need to promote the application of the principles of sustainable development and to promote the integration of SDGs into the current legislation.
The new Head of State, Kasim-Zhomart Tokayev, elected in 2019, continued and strengthened these principles in the policy of reform and international cooperation. In particular, he announced the strengthening of environmental policy, established a Ministry of Environmental Protection, Geology, Water and Forest Resources.
Taking into account 230 SDG indicators, 15 of the 17 SDG targets are closely related to the green economy. Therefore, we believe that the main tool for the implementation of the SDGs is the transition to a green economy and the corresponding technological reorientation based on the increase of productive employment and to new competitive sectors of education.
Agenda 2030 cannot be implemented by national Governments without the broad participation of civil society and the private sector. And if governments are already widely covered by SDG plans, civil society has yet to “find itself” in this process, find appropriate social innovations, expand green and socially responsible businesses.
Sustainable development goals provide an impetus for business growth, taking into account the global priorities of Governments, open up new opportunities and new markets.
It is necessary to find formats and priorities for deepening international public cooperation with world institutions, social entrepreneurship foundations, global partnership networks, donor intergovernmental organizations.
Our initiative is aimed at identifying, PR-media and public support for SDG leaders and their projects – both individuals and legal entities.

1) monitor, show and disseminate the best and most universal for different countries experience of contribution to SDGs by civil society, private sector, legal and natural persons, attract public attention to them, create moral incentives;

2) accumulate valuable recommendations and the most effective projects to attract donors and investors, technical assistance, administrative and regulatory support.
Many who want to make the greatest contribution to solving the problems of humanity and the country simply do not know what they can do.

We already began it process among rural women of the country, now we extend it on

1) Leaders of SDG-2030 among rural women;

2) Youth leaders of SDG-2030;

3) Business leaders of SDG-2030;

4) Inventors and innovators – leaders of SDG-2030.

The value of initiatives, projects is evaluated on their total contribution to achievements of SDG.
It will be a peculiar virtual exhibition of Citizens’ initiatives of SDG and a virtual rating competition in selection and assessment of leaders of SDG-2030 and their projects.
The best projects of civil society (NGO, business, science, education, the information projects and media) – as implemented, existing and the valuable intellektualnoyomky ideas of effective actions for the country in general, for the industries and regions will gather.
Information resources will be posted on the initial stage on the website of initiators (The coalition for green economy and development of G-Global, Expo&Women, the Center of application studies “Talap”, the Agrarian union of women of Kazakhstan), on social networks.

Including the best international experience. World leaders of SDG are, for example, Michael Bloomberg and others “green celebrities”, the American association Ceres Coalition which changed business strategies of world corporations.
Among institutional international projects can be leaders for SDG-2030 creation of the Center of Agroecology at FAO, an initiative of the World council of businessmen of sustainable development (WBCSD), “Agricultural management of climate (CSA)” which will integrate 100 leading companies of the world for increase by 50% of availability of nutritious food due to increase in production on the existing lands, protection of ecosystem services and a biodiversity, return the degradirovannykh of lands in productive use and reductions of losses of food.
Among the innovative recommendations of social innovations for SDG it is possible to refer development of ecosystem services of business for the international ecosystems, such as the Caspian Sea, the Aral Sea, Ili-Balkhashsky and Irtysh basins. Important not only to reveal the best projects and to speak about spaces and lack of the whole directions and subjects of projects.

We urge to develop initiatives for the Program of Partnership “Green Bridge”, Global power ecological strategy, the One Belt — One Way megaproject.
